IFOAM Program 2011 |

The IFOAM Program 2011 describes the goals and work plan for the period 2009-2011 of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements. The World Board offered this program to the IFOAM General Assembly of 2008 for debate and consideration. At the General Assembly 2002, the World Board presented the first such program, which was extensively discussed at the Assembly. After the General Assembly the World Board did some changes to the Program as a result of the GA debate. During this current term of office, the World Board has formulated IFOAM’s mission and worked from that with strategic planning resulting in six goals for the Federation. This document lays down these goals, the more precise objectives for how to contribute to the goals. Based on the Program, more detailed plans are made by the World Board and the staff.
It is the World Board’s hope that the IFOAM Program 2011 will capture the imagination of the membership and stimulate positive input into IFOAM’s goals and objectives.
